Kavanot is the magazine of The Leffell School, an independent K–12 Jewish day school in Westchester, New York. In collaboration with their Office of Institutional Advancement, we have developed the editorial content, art directed, designed, and produced issues biannually for seven years.

Named for the Hebrew word meaning “sincere feeling, direction of the heart,” Kavanot focuses on the school’s unique values and commitment to its students and families, alumni, and the greater community. In addition to serving these audiences, it importantly functions as a recruitment tool.

The print magazine is mailed to the school’s entire community and circulated at open house events.
